Even though it was a little rainy in San Francisco, it was the perfect outdoor venue for a Halloween party – lots of space, tons of 20- and 30-somethings, good grub, pumpkin sangria, $2 beers, skeeball, adult trick o’ treatin, and a heated, covered area to eat and dance to the DJ beats.
I headed there with a few of my close girl friends, and after we MOWED down food truck grub and knocked back a few beers, we danced our tushie off, made a few new friends and spotted some pretty awesome costumes. It was a welcome change to the same ole Halloween bar scene or expensive party tickets.
It got me thinking… I love how food trucks have become some a huge part of our culture the last few years, and even more so this past year! Five years ago a bangin’ outdoor Halloween party with booze, music, a flash mob and 10+ food trucks wouldn’t have existed. I’m excited to continue to watch the food truck scene evolve and see where we find ourselves five years from now (who knows, maybe I’LL own a food truck by then)…
Until next year, here’s a few pics from our night:
Mah girls – me with my iPhone emoji twin, cotton candy, a cowgirl, and a pink taco
The packed outdoor party scene (900 people RSVPed!)
Flanking the Gangnam Style dude!
A pink taco grubbin’ on a good food truck burger
We spotted a baby bulldog hot dog!
Oscar the Grouch! The best.
Deadmau5! Amazing costume that looked just like the real one.
And we danced! And we cried! And we had a really, really, really good time.
Do you make out with the guy hiding his head under a Lego helmet? (HELL NO!)
Happy Halloween, lovers! What did you dress as?
